Jacques Sicard of France was hired by Weller Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio in 1902. Sicard created a secret glaze formula for decorating pottery in Art Nouveau motifs with iridescent shades of purple, silver and green. In France the process was known as "Reflets Metalliques". Sicard maintained the secrecy of the process and returned to France in 1907. This 13.5in vase is signed and decorated with peacock feathers. $6900.00.
Hall  made these for Drip-o-Lator, they are marked with the Drip-o-Lator stamp, not the Hall stamp. From left to right, Kadota shape Tulip decorated for $185.00.  Panel shape with Potted Flower decal, with original instruction booklet, labels, and a box of the original filters, $95.00. Another Kadota shape decorated with a different Tulip decal, $85.00. All of these are complete with their original strainers.
Roseville has become one of the most well-recognized (and loved) areas of collecting. Many patterns exist, and lots of people remember Grandma having a few pieces. This pattern, Sunflower, is only getting more desirable (and, of course, harder to find). Made in the '30s. This piece is $595.00.
This pair of Siamese cats with bright blue glass eyes is actually a TV lamp. Marked Lane & Co Van Nuys California c.1958.
Monumental Van Briggle 14.5x5in console bowl with matching flower frog, in an oak and acorn pattern. The mulberry glaze and bottom surface date it to 1945, as the glaze was discontinued in '46. Pictured is one candlestick of a set of two, priced at $125.00. The console bowl and frog are $450.00.
The Norse Pottery Co was started in Edgerton, Wisconsin in 1903. IN 1904, they moved to Rockford, Illinois.  The focus of their production was black pottery made to resemble bronze relics  from Scandinavia. The company closed in 1913. Smaller limited-production American art pottery companies are a really hot collectable market these days. This is a 6x4in marked Norse pottery vase with a black glass stand for $210.00.
Shawnee Pottery operated from 1937 to 1961 in Zanesville, Ohio. The best known lines were the Corn King and the Corn Queen, which began as Proctor & Gamble premium giveaways. King Corn mugs are priced at $69.50 each, the 10in dinnerplates at 64.50 each and the covered jar at $95.00.
