Vaseline Glass

All items on this page are located at Star Center Antique Mall, in Snohomish, WA. Vaseline glass is a translucent green glass that glows bright green under blacklight, due to uranium in the formula. Some glass can look exactly like vaseline but not glow under blacklight, because it has no uranium; blacklight is the only test. Many companies created vaseline glass over the years, mostly from 1840- WWII, though it was produced again from the '60s on through today. Most of this glass was produced by Fenton.
